Step 2 on Your Digital Transformation Journey - Digitize Your Records

When it comes to digitization, you have a few options:

To get on the fast track to transformation, you could digitize your entire backlog at once. But this is not always practical if you don't need to access all your files digitally right off the bat.
If you don't need regular access to your files, you can consider digitizing your records on-demand, which reduces the upfront time and cost.
Or, you could go with a day-forward digitization strategy, which allows for scanning, indexing, and conversion of net-new files and incoming paper documents.

Choosing the right option or combination of options will set up your organization for:

Secure access to data from anywhere
Improved collaboration across departments
Simplified business workflows, and
Increased productivity

It's true. Not everything needs to be digitized. Start by categorizing your files by priority.Your goal is to make important information as accessible as possible in a secure and cost-effective way.
